The Big Day is nearing. My legally married wife and I are finishing each and every tasks for our Church wedding on 17th January 2015. (It is a requirement in our Church to legally marry before the wedding)
I can't remember when we started the planning for the wedding but it is a blessed plan. From the day we have attended the Catholic Marriage Preparation Course we were always building trust and closing the gaps between us. These acts have bond us much stronger that we realised that the blessings of God are always there in our relationship.
When I informed my intention to marry to my parish priest, he gave me a guidance booklet to prepare the wedding booklet. From there, as my wife and I were going through the bible readings for the wedding service, we read the text from 1 Cor 13: 1-8. The last phrase touched both of us. At that moment we understood God's role in our relationship because He was the one that always has kept both of us together against every obstacles and pains. With much of honour, acknowledgement, praises and gratitude, we have decided to put His act on us as the wedding theme and that is "Love Never Fails" (ref: 1Cor 13: 8)
From the time we have selected the theme, we are building our life to be Christ centered. We always know that we are very much afar from achieving it but nevertheless we have decided not to forget that God shall be always the center of our marriage and family life.
During the preparation, there were many obstructions and discouragements that have led us to some dry moments but because we never stopped communicating even in an argument and therefore we were able to discover each other more and more. Whenever we are in a church, we will be sitting in front of the blessed sacrament and pray. We infact little by little have stopped asking and started giving thanks in our prayers to the Lord. We always end our prayers with one Lord's prayer, three Hail Mary and complete them with 'Glory Be'.
Trust in God more than yourselves. Nothing is greater than Him. The world will put it's conditions to give you that temporary comfort, but it will fail eventually. God never fails. His love never fails.
May the Lord bless you and give you peace. Amen.

Chapter Two - What is Happening is Happening in Good Way
Continuing from the Chapter One, our journey from the first meet developed to second meeting, third, fourth and planning some outings and now we are getting married.
Through these two years journey and exploring what we want as an individual and as a couple, situations never been all time comfortable. I am so proud to say that we fought, we told to the other that we wanted to break-up, we stopped talking with each other for somedays, we scolded each other and doubting each other's love. From all those we learnt to respect each other and made some decisions as a couple. And the best thing is we experienced wonderful feelings of missing each other and loving each other after every arguments and fight.
Love relationship is never so different from how is our relationship with God. In both, decision to love is the key to continuation.
In our relationship, the little things we did to the other are the greatest gifts we gave and received. I can't forget my first kiss, the warmth of her body when I hug her, her childlike and annoying attitude, the way she finds comfort under my arms when she felt hurt, the way she appreciated and boasted to her friends when I bought her some gifts, the way she laughed at my jokes although it is not very funny, the happiness we share when we went out together, the way we forgetten the world around us and only thought about us, the proud feelings that we felt when making decisions as a couple, when we complimented each other, when we encouraged each other and many more.
We are now in the midst of planning our wedding and we very much know that there are more to discover about each other and us. The confidence that we have on this marriage was not imposed or inspired by another person or couple or situation but we grew this confidence by fostering us to narrow our gaps. It is easy to break-up and to find a new partner but it is not easy to go back to our partner that has challenged us and say, "Hi". Unless by acceptance (coping), love cannot succeed.
If you believe in love and wanted to be loved, always accept that what has happened, is happening and will happen has been, is and will be happening in good way.

Deciding - Wisely? Or Smartly?
When making a decision, we are always taught or atleast warned to make a wise decision. Most of the time we try to make a smart decision.
Smart decision is self-centered. It could be for self, for the family, for the company, for the friends, for the politic party, for the country and even for God, but there main reason behind a smart decision is for self's benefit. When making a smart decision, we will get appraisals in the manner of monetary or loyalty or fear or people less bother us or many other self benefits where the list can go on.
When wise decision is made, there is no assurance that we will get appraisal. Sometimes people even can describe us as stupid. When a decision is made wisely, a fair judgement is made in conjuction.
For example when making wise decision in marrying a person, we see all the downfall of that person yet deciding to marry that person because we faithfully believe in God is the center of the marriage and we can cope. If smart decision is made, marrying a difficult person is a no because our life will be more complicated then. When making wise decision in promoting a person, we see his/hers credibility. If smart decision is made, we see the appraisal from the smart move by promoting a credible person.
Wise decision is made with wisdom. God made wise decision and that is why He created human. He knew humankind will betray Him but He also knew human will learn His greatest gift. Love. If God ever made a smart decision, we will not be alive because truly we are destroying the world, the masterpiece of God.
I pray that we, brothers and sisters and including myself, make wise decisions in every moment of our life. I pray that may God blesses us with His wisdom.
Amen.

Chapter One - Love at First Sight
It was on evening May 27, 2012 at Cathedral of St John, Kuala Lumpur that I met her for the first time in-person. Before this we met in an online dating website and then facebook and she invited me to meet on the mentioned day via facebook message.
So we went to the evening Sunday Eucharistc Celebration at the cathedral. I am not sure where she is sitting and so i just told my self not to look for her yet and concentrate on the celebration.
After the mass is over, I waited a while at the entrance and I started to feel akward, so I decided to walk around the cathedral for a while to think if I am making the right move. I was nervous and have not prepared any introduction words expect for the common word, "Hi" and she phone-called me. The first sentence i heard from her with her timid and nervous voice, "Errmm... Where are you?" And I responded her that I am at the cathedral and to wait for me at the entrance. I can't remember how I said them but I know that my sentences are not properly arranged and I had to repeat certain words for her to understand what I am saying.
At the entrance I saw her holding a roll of poster. She is a simple looking person. No make-up. Dark skin but not too dark. Wearing an eye-glasses like mine and put on a a grey colour sweater and carrying a bag. She was not the girl of my dream but I felt that I really really wanted to know her more. I felt that I am attracted to her because she presented herself so naturally without any makeup and yet she still wanted to blind date.
So I went near her and as I thought my first word is "Hi" and she replied the same too. Then she asked me, "You came here alone?" I was very nervous that time that I did not hear what she asked me that I had to reply, "Huh? What you were saying?". Then for sometime there was some akward moment with silent and at that time I asked her if we can go to a 'mamak shop' for some cups of tea and she agreed.
So, we walked down from the cathedral which is actually built on a hill to a President Corner Bistro. We sat facing each other and took an order for cups of tea with milk and the other without milk. Deep in my heart, I am saying to myself I must break the akwardness and start with a warm conversation and guess what, it did happen. I could suddenly start a casual conversation with her, saying where I am staying, my family, about my involvement in church's activities, my hobbies and bla bla bla.... I am pretty sure that we sat there for almost and hour and most of the talking done by me. Nervous at first but I got comfortable with her as the conversation prolong.
During the conversation, she gave the poster to me. It is the picture of Mary, the Mother of Universe. I told her that in my house we have a lot of holy pictures and posters and one of the waiter saw the picture and asked us, "Are you church goers?" I immediatedly asked him, "Are you a Catholic?". And he said, "Yes". So I asked her if I can give the waiter the poster and she agreed and I gave the poster to the waiter. After a while we decided to leave. We paid the bill and we walked back uphill as it started to drizzle.
We walked to a junction and said goodbye. I asked her if I could drop her at her house but she politely refused my offer. She walked to the nearest LRT station and I crossed the road to go to my car parked at cathedral but once I crossed the road, I stole a moment to look at her from far. I already in love with her but I was not sure if a relationship could happen since we never arranged a second date. But..... This story has a continuation....

Okay Mah.. Both Same Price Mah
Just what happened today reminded me of my past of the same kind of happenings. So what did really has happened today?
I was in Petaling Jaya New Town at afternoon doing a case study for a Car Park Design proposal for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (Town Council of Petaling Jaya). The weather was very hot and so decided to buy a cold drink in a coffee shop and I entered a shop nearest to the Standard Chartered Bank.
The menus are readily placed on the tables. I sat down at one and took the order card and the pencil, while looking for the right choice of cold drink and I spotted the item number 804 which is Honeydew Fresh Juice. To save some paper since I have only one item to order, I put back the order card in a box of empty order cards on the table and called the waitress. She looks late 30s, maybe early 40s. She was dressed smartly and not at all looks like a worker. I'm much convinced that she must be one of the owner because she is a Chinese lady at her late 30s.
I told her my order and she said to me, "Tulis dalam paper" (In direct translation 'Write in paper'). What she meant was to write my order on an order card. Then I replied her, "But it is just one item." But she gave me a look like I am some kind of noob, so I wrote down '804' at drink column.
After a while, she served me with a drink, supposed to be my order, but it was Watermelon Juice. Before I could tell her that that is not what I ordered, she already walked away to serve other customers. So I waited for her without touching the drink, thinking that this might be other's order but by mistaken given to me. Then she realised that I am just sitting at the table without drinking or anything else, so she turned and looked at me and I was looking at her. I called her and told that I ordered item 804 which is Honeydew Fresh Juice, but she tried to convince me that the served drink is Honeydew Fresh Juice.
She went to the counter to see what is my actual order was and realizing that she gave me the wrong order, she negotiated with me with something that I never thought of that she would say. "Okay mah... Both same price mah..."
I was like, "What?! Same price but not the same taste"

Pray For Your Relationship
Once when I read an article at yahoo.match.com. They listed some points of positive signs of how two person could click to each other.
1. The other person keeps the momentum going
2. The other person knows the value of a phone call
3. This person pays attention to details
So basically, if one of the two unfailingly keep the momentum going, communicate and giving attention, the relationship would be successful. So coming to the norm of my style asking question after reading any article, "Really meh?"
I have done all these to my previous crush but they never worked out.
The only way I see that a relationship could click is adding to these 'must do' things, the 'must must do' thing will be 'Pray for the relationship'. What else could be greater than God's blessing?

Zhongguo Xinnian Kuaile
Reaching the particular days soon, I know I know but I won’t be blogging about Zhongguo Xinnian on the days. For those of you who doesn’t understand what is ‘Zhongguo Xinnian’, Zhongguo means Chinese also China, and Xinnian means New Year, and Kuaile completes the greeting ‘Happy Chinese New Year’. Kuaile is Happy in greeting. Okay. I maybe wrong since I’m very amateur in Chinese.
Back to my school days when I was in Standard One, my first Chinese friend, Chindian actually, Dinesh Hong. And my first enemy in the same class eventually became friend, Gan Chun Bee. I was competing with Dinesh in studies when I was in Primary school. I do not know whether he has noticed that before. Dinesh mostly faired better than me in test and exams and we always end up at top five in them. Gan Chun Bee although has spoiled my stationeries and sometime steal them too, it is because of him I got 100% in my English Final Test during Standard One. That naughty guy eventually became a prefect in school. Anyhow we are not in touch now but I still remember them. Hope we would be bumped into each other one day.
The first Chinese woman that I had crush on is my English teacher in Standard Six. Haha. I don’t remember her name. She was a petite with glasses and thin. Can’t talk much about her. Teacher. Must RESPECT!!.
And the first Chinese child who became so close to me, Phoebe Ng. I like children but who don’t. She is very adorable to many because she has a gut to approach and talk to anyone no matter what is their age, but she is also a shy person sometimes. Everytime I takes her picture, she will give me a look like she wanted to bash my face. But I am guy that likes to take candid shots. I would say that her parents are really blessed and she is blessed with a wonderful mother. I do not about her father because I have never met him but he must be a wonderful man too. I am hoping to see her growing up into a beautiful woman one day. Things might change in time. People might move or migrate.
In New Year, new resolutions, new hope, new commitment, new dream occurs and some are still to be continued. No matter what, Chinese community has been always giving a wonderful environment during the season. The colour of red and gold, the oranges, the series of songs in television, the good back to back movies, and not forgetting the fire-crackers and lion dance. That’s the time that we get bonuses from employer to be given away as ang-paus. Note that. “ANG-PAU”. So when I come to your house this New Year, ehem, please give me your bonus in Ang-pau packet.
Have a Prosperous New Year everybody. GONG XI FA CHAI!!!.
If my sentences are like clumsy bear, please pardon me because I couldn't concentrate with my typing since I'm having a severe pain on my right shoulder. Thank you

Silly and Jolly with FOUR Letter Words
Words are powerful. They can poignant a person. They can sensationalize a person’s emotion. They can challenge a person. They can zeal a person. They can make a person to fall in love. They can give happiness to a person. They can tease a person. They can annoy. They can even kill a person or give purpose to live.
Recently I had a bulb suddenly beamed on top of my head about FOUR letter words. So I thought of sharing on what I could think of.
The poignant type:
What would be your feelings when the people that you love so much says, “I HATE you!”?
That word can prick through our hearts and bring down the spirit of even a steel-hearted person.
The sensation type:
When a teenage boy gets a reply from his crush, “I LIKE you too”, now that’s the ‘you cannot catch me cause I’m flying in the air now’ feeling. It’s a bit different from “I love you” in terms of at what maturity level crush happens.
The challenging type:
FAIL. That’s the word that we always try to avoid in every task we do. For example when we are playing Playstation game, we do not want our character to fail the mission, especially when we are eager to see the challenges waiting for the next round.
The zeal type:
I would like quote the Billi Lim’s best selling book’s title, “DARE To Fail”. The title explained well of the contents. One of the phrases in his book is, ‘Success is at the far sight of failure. We always pass a patch called failure on our way to success.’
The falling in love type:
Definitely it is the universal language, “I LOVE you”. This word is more likely to give higher emotional impact on females. The word ‘LOVE’ hardly comes out from a guy’s mouth. Easy for a guy to say, “I like you” for he knows the commitment he can promise is less than “I love you.” But when a guy truly loves his girl, his simple “I love you” is the magical charm in his relationship.
The happiness type:
Back to our kindergarten years, getting 100% in our maths at Form Five is never like getting stars with the word ‘GOOD’. We would bring back that marked assignment and bother our parents to show those stars and ‘Good’ remarks though those were given because we counted the apples and balls correctly. To prove it, how many of us did the same at Form Five?
The teasing type:
One of my friends who is a non-Hindu, Chinese craving for ‘Murukku’, an Indian chips or bites served especially during Deepavali. Few days after the festival, she posted that she wanted ‘Murukku’ in her Facebook. I commented, “BURP” and she replied, “So EVIL”. Like she felt teased with my, “burp”, and I felt teased too with her, “So evil”. It’s down grading my talent on teasing. She supposed to say, “So devil” rather than, “so evil”. Haiz…
The annoying type:
Try calling your girlfriend ‘BABE’ constantly everyday. But don’t just stop with that. Try more like, “Ma babe feelin fine? Aint no drugs for yo, but ma got sugar for ma babe. I luv yo babe.”
Well. They can be very nice for somedays but, gradually will annoy your girl.
Yo do wan to see yo babe replying “swt -.-!” dontcha?
The murdering type:
It’s none other than the word ‘HATE’ again. Do not ever tell this word to your parents deep from your heart. This word can slowly kill them.
The purpose to live type:
Purpose to live that I meant here is not purpose to stay alive but to live life abundantly. Especially to parents, how did you feel when your child called you MAMA or PAPA?
How do you feel when you remember back the moments where your child would run to you with wide stretched arms and shouting in joy, “MAMA!!!!” or “PAPA!!!”?
And of cause that the child will grow up and make your life miserable in future but, can anything else equal the moments of those two words?
Last but not least is about me. First would be my name, ANBU. Anbu means LOVE in Tamil and it carries a great meaning to me.
Secondly would be the name that my friend, Yoanna gave me. “BUBU.” I assume that she loves dogs so much that the only way she could show her love is by treating me like a dog. Well. Maybe for my next birthday she will buy me a collar. Whatever makes her happy?
Finally for granddaughter Nicole, my LAME jokes. They are inseparable from me, girl. Catch you sometimes for snooker.
CHAO!

CHAO!

Girls Are Kicking Balls Around Nowadays
Before I begin, I know what you are thinking, boys. -.-! (Whatever makes you happy?)
When I was in high school, a male teacher (can’t remember his name) told my class that those days Form Sixes are dominated by male students, but today situation has changed. Universities, Elite Classes, Curricular Competitions and Grades are dominated by females.
If you look at the Employment Field, many females are white collared compare to males, but the fact is (referring to today’s, 05 October 2010 http://www.msn.com/ main page topic) female employees are still less paid at average compare to male employees.
Very often, we read people blame the education system not being fair to the boys and female employees are paid low because of their maternity.
Based on my experience as a male student who comes from the background of all-boys schools, I did see there is a lot of difference between having many male teachers around and having few or none. When I was in primary, we had many male teachers in my school. For us, those were the great days. People say about fatherly love often is the reason why having male teachers around could give some impact on the boys’ academic performance. It is not about fatherly love. We boys like to be rough and act macho and immature among us. When we need to be motivated, we need a male teacher. When we do sports, we need a male teacher. When we are fighting with our schoolmates, we need a male teacher. And I mean a real ‘MALE’ teacher. We need somebody who can pull down our egos, discipline us, and make us to be serious in studies but at the same time to provide us fun (football, basketball, hockey) when we are bored of studying. In short, we need somebody who can make boys remain boys while excelling. If a female teacher wants to do these, she must be the dominating type and not many female teachers can do so. So to handle the many number of boys, supplies of a few male teachers are not enough.
This may look like some excuses to cover the decreasing grades and performance of the boys, but it is true that psychological readiness is important for male students to face challenges like boys. Schools are the basic platforms for whatever types of males we are producing for this country.
But to be fair to girls, the current education situation is gradually firming their potentiality. It will be not fair to them if we go back to what the education system was. Somewhere the system must draw back the boys into its runway.
For the employment part I will leave it first.

Why Chinese prefer English names?
Why Chinese prefer English names?
Some say, “Because they sound cool, mah.”
Some say, “Easy to pronounce lo.”
Some say, “So that I can get one leng-lui at every one year. Which one do you think chics will fall for? Tan Wee Hong or Jacky Tan? (I think Anbu Tan sounds cooler)
Anyway, the answer for the question above maybe lies in my experience. Well. I am not a Chinese and that is for sure but my sharing could be vely vely helpful for you guys.
The following are the scenarios that have taken place in my office whenever I make or receive calls:
Scene 1
Trut.. Trut.. (Making a call)
Person No 1: Good morning. Bla bla bla Sdn Bhd.
Me: Hello. I’m calling from Sukat Bahan. May I speak to Mr. Bla Bla, please?
Person No 1: Who’s on the line?
Me: Anbu
Person No 1: Undrew? (Actually she said “Andrew?”)
Me: No. Anbu. A-N-B-U.
Person No 1: Oh… A-N-D-U. Mr. Undo, he is in a meeting. Could you try him later?
Thank you.
Scene 2
Ring…ring… (Receiving a call)
Me: Good evening. Sukat Bahan.
Person 2: Halo. Mr. Chong got ah?
Me: Who am I speaking to, please?
Person 2: Jenna from RE Property. He’s there ah?
Me: Sorry. Mr. Chong is on leave. He will be back on Friday. Is there any
message for him?
Person 2: Never mind. I call him on Friday. What’s your name ah?
Me: Anbu.
Person 2: Huh?! Hantu?! (Should have reminded her that now is Hungry Ghost Season)
Me: No. Anbu.
Person 2: How to spell your name?
Me: A-N-B-U. Anbu
Person 2: Ok. Mr. Undo. I’ll call on Friday.
Me: Okay. Thank you.
Haiz…. WHY?!! WHY?!!... Maybe I should start introducing myself as Christie, but people might send faxes to me with “Attn: Ms. Christy”
Or maybe like Anwar who made famous of himself with SODOMY crime in court, I should make myself famous with “YOU-KNOW-ME?” crime.

We Stand United
Why we see colours?
Why we categorize people by their race's economy?
Why should there be the term, "Loser"?
You know. All of them are within our blood. We do all these because we learned from somebody, but don't you agree these should change?
All these stereotyping will only hurt people. They bring no good. I say that this is some kind of People-phobia disease.
I was not so far from this disease once upon a time. Although until now, since my primary school I have more Chinese friends than Indian friends, and infact of all races, I still saw them as some kind of threat. My elders, still in the fancied-fear of the May 13 incident, installed me viruses of, "Beware of other race" into my 'hard-disk', and for that I sometimes have labelled my friends, "Chinese are cheaters", "Malays are lazy" and "East Malaysian are Malays too and therefore they are also lazy people."
This is what my thinking was until I learned the meaning of the word, 'Catholic'. Catholic is not just the term we use to indentify a group of Christians but it also has a meaning. The word Catholic taken from Greek word, Katholikos, also means "throughout the world" or "Universal". At that time, I realized that I belong to the whole world and not just to one race. And I was also trying to suit the word 'Universal' to my name which also means, 'flame of love'. It suits well. Love is universal. And flame of love? Wow!
It only takes love to see people beyond colour, beyond their economy, beyond their personality. And infact, my third point, "Why should there be the term, "Loser"?", is not only about personality but also about race. Sometimes we see or label some race as 'lazy'. "These people not like us. Hardworkers." Or sometimes, "We shouldn't do business with these people. They are not good in business"
In my view, no race is hardworking or good in business. All these are born from our attitudes. In this world, the billionaires and millionaires are mixed with all kind of races. Some earned them, and some inherit them from their fathers. So. Not even all the billionaires and millionaires are harworkers or good business-persons. It's all in the attitude. And infact, there are also some people who are happy with their finance although they are not millionaires. So. If you are not billionaire or millionaire also does not mean that you are lazy or 'loser'
Love is the key. Stand united.
Declare Beauty Again. You know why I say this almost in my every blog posts? I have seen the beauty of what I am sharing and I am excited to share it to you. So. To you too, Declare Beauty Again.

I'm Starting to Hate KL..
Been working in KL since Nov 2008, but before this, I was travelling to KL every Sunday for mass and now i got fed up with KL.
Travelling every Monday to Friday... Taking public transport instead of own since it is more convenient... I am really a kampung boy instead of town freak... I like to be 'selekeh' but that doesn't mean I go work also 'selekeh'... I dress to proper though not to trendy.. I just don't care about being trendy...
Walking pass Petaling Street every morning and after work... nevertheless the unwanted disturbance of 'chickens'... "Mau masuk, bang?".... I was like, "Masuk apa?"... Sometimes I wonder that should I buy them breakfast whenever I am early... but never did.. I pity them... But one scenario that I could never forget is about an old man who is actually a 'Bapak Ayam' everyday will come out to the street with some joysticks saying, "Ong Lai.. Ong Lai..".... I was like, "Idiot.. Me doing legal job also never did this."...
Another reason, I think I am turning into some sort of a carbon-monoxide-polluted-homosapien... I'm getting darker!!!... Man!!... Dah lah single, now got another problem?.... This is really a serious problem, actually... I mean really really serious... For example, like today, as I was walking down the street from Pudu to Kota Raya, a young chic was walking from the opposite direction took a curve when walking pass me... I was like, "Huh?!"... I really thought that I wanted to suddenly step forward towards her just to freak her out...
Well... I should still thank KL for providing me more opportunities to upgrade myself.. I should thank especially the firm I am working with because there I progressed well in my job... I mean, I came there as a Trainee in November 2008 and now I was promoted three times since then to Technical Executive that is promising gold mine in near future... But. I still hate KL. Should find a job in Puchong.... Hhmmm

Phone Marriage
On Monday, I read an article in the Sun about Phone Marriage. Yes. Phone Marriage, a new way of getting married long distance these days.
"Bleat-bleat! Hello? Who's speaking? Will you marry me? Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today over this crackly phone line to celebrate holy matrimony." Source, The Sun.
What kind of an idiot will do this? I mean, even if you know that person, why this should be an option? Who knows that someone could be getting married through phone while he's in a bed with another guy. Well just giving an example of extreme possibilities.
Imagine Justin Lim is getting married through phone, and maybe he invited me to be his witness. Well, I would still be glad to volunteer myself as a witness just to enjoy the show. He says, "I do." She says, "I do, too."
After a month, she flew in to Malaysia to meet her husband for the first time. I would gladly arrange their honeymoon at a nice, romantic, expensive place for these beautiful and handsome couple, just to get a shock from him on his honeymoon night. "Anbu!!... She got balls!!..."
"Err.. Justin... Isn't that a little bit too much to tell about your wife to me like this?", says me.
"No!.. I mean, she got balls, below!.. Help me, Anbu... Please... Help me...", says Justin, crying..
NB: This story has never happened. It is just a precaution example. Have a nice day, guys.

Who am I? What is my mission?
There are always some questions running in my head since I was 21yr. "Who am I?... What is my mission?... What am I called to do?.."
Well, they may sound like an action movie phrases, but these are what is going through my head for over 6 years. It's like I am sailing in the middle of an ocean looking for a dry land. Many times I believed that I might be called for being this or that and try to relate it to my talents and knowledge so that I could one day say, "Aha....This is it". But, I am just a 'Jack of many trades, master of non'.
Maybe my name carries the answers for my questions... Or maybe it just an answer rather that answers.
Anbuchudar Christie = Anbu (Love, Cinta) + Chudar (Flame, Api) + Christie (Christ, Kristus)
Anbuchudar Christie = Christ's flame of love = Api cinta Kristus.
Love endures all things and Love never ends. I hope that this what I am here for. To be the Christ's Flame of Love

7th May on Investment
Talking about investment... how do you see investment in your life?... What does the word investment means to you?
Today, 7th May, is the last day of industrial practice for two trainees from TAR college at the place I work. During lunch, we were talking about investment. We shared our opinions about it and came up with some further thoughts.
The way I see investment is almost every relevant thing could be an investment. The education, work, adventure, savings, share market, royalty, insurance, sharing thoughts, practicing skills... every relevant things and happenings around us could be some investments. For each of them brings good and improvement. So investment is not always about money only.
During our conversation, Liew, on of the trainee asked me, "How about girlfriend? Isn't she could be some sort of investment too?"
Well. Behind every man's success, there is a woman. She could be your mother, sister, grandma, a friend, a best friend, sister-in-law, a relative, girlfriend and even the one you love the most other than these people, your 'inspiration'. But no love should be conditional so I disagree if they should be seen as investments to some men.
Every things and happenings that could bring improvement to our self, to our intellectual, to our pocket, to our every bid of us as persons and gladly take up the challenge for the future and their benefits. To chase our dream/s, everything that is benefiting is significant.
But....Sometimes to do good, we need to sacrifice our dream/s. And you and I know that our love for our dream/s never fades.

Behold Your Future
Behold your future. A questionnaire best describes your marital status.
A. Single
B. Married
C. Other
D. Refused
The first and second options are logical enough but, what would qualify 'Other'? And why do people wanted to know whether we'd been 'Refused' or not? Haiz..
Referring to the experiment did by a narrator of The Sun, he distributed this questionnaire to some people in a bar. Five minutes later all have answered except an elderly man who was still answering.
Some answered the first and second options. After a few minutes, the elderly man finally handed his paper. He had ticked 'Other'. So the narrator asked him, "But what do you mean by that? Are you married or not?".
He replied, "I had to thick 'Other' because my answer to that question is Can't Remember."
During the survey, one doleful young man has ticked 'Refused'. He then was curious about why do people wanted to know that he had been refused.
"Maybe they reckon guys like you are such total losers that they don't even want you on their spam list," said the narrator and he added this phrase in his article, 'Life is hard'.
Anyway, when I read this article, I found out that it refers mainly to men than women, since the narrator has mentioned that there are definitely two men and others remain as others without their genders stated. It also has triggered my curiosity of why women stay single. Since we have got a fair answer on why men stay single, what about women then?
Be noted that I'm not referring to all singles. Just the 'Refused' one.
They can't be falling under the same category as men. Losers?! Sincerely I would like to know why they are single since many of them are still pretty. Not to make them laughing subjects but I would like to understand their reasons too.
For the girls who may not understand why some guys stay single, I could give an example of myself but it may not be the best one. Long story cut short, I met a girl; falls in love; was never accepted; felt so rejected and heart broken; was curious to know whether this is a love or a crush and hoping it is a crush; tried to open my heart to another girl; but still can't forget her; spoiled the beautiful friendship between her and me; and still seeking for forgiveness from her.
I went through all these heart-aching moments and still hoping her forgiveness. At one time I finally accepted that she is not for me. I may not open my heart to any other girl forever. Nobody has stolen my heart at the first sight like she did but, 'Unconditional Love' could still exist in a friendship.

A joke to share
Story #1
A man went to a clinic to get some treatment. He saw there were four rooms for those in out-patient category to serious level of case, each separated accordingly. He was curious to know about how the nurse select which patient enters which room, so he asked her,
"I see four rooms with different level of patient-illness category. How do you categorize us accordingly?"
She answered, "Well. We test the patients by filling a bathtub full with water and give them a tea-spoon, a big mug, and a pail, and ask them to empty the bathtub."
And the man immediately replied, "Oh. I get it. The one who uses the pail is at the normal condition. You treat the person in the first room."
"No" said the nurse with a smile. "Normal people will just unplug the trap. You don't have to take the test. I know the right room for you"
Story # 2
Every morning, Sandy will stand out at the entrance and shout, "Thank you, Lord!", before she starts her day.
Tommy, who stays at the next door, will always shout back to her, "There is no God!. You are lame."
And Sandy will reply, "You are wrong. God is everywhere."
One day, Sandy has no enough money to buy her groceries, so she stood outside her house and shouted, "Lord. I have no enough money to buy some groceries. I know you can help me. Please send the groceries to me."
Surprisingly there was no reply from Tommy. Sandy did notice that but she is not interested to know why.
In the evening, the door-bell rang and Sandy opens her door. At the entrance, there was a bag of groceries but nobody was around. She was so happy to see the groceries and she shouted, "Thank you Lord. Thank you for the groceries."
And Tommy replied, "There is no God!. You are lame. It was I who bought you the groceries"
" Oh yes there is God". She replied. "He is the One who bought the groceries and made the devil pay them."

C my life
Sometime before I have noticed that my life is involved with many things that start with the letter C.
- First, my name is Anbuchudar Christie. Some people prefer calling me Christie rather than calling me Anbu or Sudar.
- I prefer to take up challenges. Challenge enjoys both failure and win. Just that, sometime i give time for certain things before i take them as challenges.
- I give importance to charismatic attitude for myself and on others. This is how i got involved in reviving Chess Challenge Club and Catholic Students Society and became their chairperson too.
- I am a Christian, a Catholic. Well it should be Roman Catholic, but I prefer addressing myself as a Catholic.
- As a Church goer, i get involved in it's social and spiritual activities too. There, I teach Catechism, get involve with youth activities and KUBM (Bahasa Malaysia Apostolate), a musician and a trainer for Bahasa Malaysia choir.
- As for an animal, I like cat. I don't care whether it is domestic cat or the wild big cat.
- As for re-energizing phrase, I always say in my heart that "I am a champion. GAMBATTE!!"
- I have more Chinese friends of all races, but I never picked-up their language.
- I prefer their food too, and my most favourite is Char Koey Teow (Fried Koey Teow).
- My all-time favourite PC games are Championship Manager and Counter Strike. Board games are Chess and Chinese Chess.

The Greatest is Love
Love is patient and kind;
Love is not jealous or boastful;
It is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own ways;
It is not irritable or resentful;
It does not rejoice at wrong.
But rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures all things.
Love never ends...
So Faith, Hope, Love abide, these three;
But the greatest of these is
Love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8, 13

Release me, Lord
Ever faced that someone that you love the most, hates you?
Life afterall is cruel in a way. I have said 'Live life abundantly', 'Life is beautiful', 'Declare beauty again'.... and more, but today, I feel like that I am standing at a stage where life is telling me that I am useless.
I put the blame on me. If I could, I just wanted to vanish from this world, but that would be very coward thought. You could ask me whether I have tried to change the situation. I did try, but I couldn't continue. I could never think of another girl except her. But why is this happening if this is impossible? Why this agony?
But forget about all these. Can't I just move forward? Why holding me to her?
Everything You do upon me Lord is good. That is what i am trying to believe without doubt. I know it is true but I am just an ordinary person. Release me from this pain.
